Our Vision
Working in partnership with our community and church, at Trinity we create a nurturing and caring environment, where we serve each other with love through: showing consideration, demonstrating commitment and working cooperatively.
We believe in our school…
We believe in our school because it opens the doors for our children and is ‘a passport for their future.’ Our School, provides a sense of belonging, pride and shared purpose. We believe in our school because it provides a supportive environment where students, staff and the community can work together to enable our children to strive for success.
We empower our children to be confident, responsible and become lifelong learners, who contribute to our community.
We believe in our Community…
We believe in our community because “it takes a village to raise a child” and together we can support one another. We believe that a community is a foundation of support, collaboration and shared values. A strong community fosters co-operation, consideration and is committed to one another’s success.
We encourage and foster a love for our community and strive to develop our students into contributing members of society, who love their community and strive for positive change!
We believe in our church…
“He has told you men what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: Only to act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
– Micah 6:8
We believe in our church because it is a place of faith, hope and spiritual guidance, that nurtures our relationship with God and one another. The Church provides us all with spiritual and moral guidance: to do what is right; show constant love and act with humility.
For many in our community, our church provides support in times of need and is a place to rejoice and share in the joy of worship.
Our belief in our church reflects our mission to grow spiritually, morally and make a positive difference in our world.
Our Values
Commitment
Matthew 18: 10-14
“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.”
Like our God, the Good Shepherd, who is committed to each and every one of us, Trinity Academy is committed to its children and want each and every child to fulfil their potential.
We strive each day to instil this same commitment in everything they do!
Consideration
Luke 10: 25-37
“But a Samaritan, as he travelled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.”
At Trinity Academy, consideration underpins everything we do. As it is written in Mark 12:31, “Love your neighbour as yourself”, the staff and students at Trinity Live and breathe consideration. Regardless of our differences, whether that’s cultural, religious or personal, we are considerate of those around us; support and empower one another; provide a shoulder to lean on, and a helping hand to those in need.
We strive each day to instil this same commitment in everything they do!
Co-operation
Mark 2: 1-12
“Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
Like the four friends, we are a community that co-operates to enable our children to flourish. We believe that co-operating and working together enhances collective success, fosters mutual respect and emphasizes trust and shared responsibility. Co-operation is a natural part of our school day and helps nurture and strengthen positive relationships.
We strive each day to instil this same commitment in everything they do!
(Our Motto) ‘Together as one’
At Trinity Primary academy, we stand untied as one, committed to our growth, considerate of others and ready to co-operate.
We stand together, despite our individual difference, and acknowledge that everyone is unique and brings their own strengths and perspectives, creating a richer and more diverse community.
We collaborate and work as a team towards a common goal – whether in school, within our community or in church. Community requires a collective effort and mutual support and we hope to foster this love for co-operation within our pupils and practitioners.
We strive each day to instil this same commitment in everything they do!
Spirituality at Trinity
At Trinity we see spirituality as an ongoing reflective journey to discover and understand ourselves and others. To be inspired and in awe of our world and the wonders of life.
To develop our spirituality we explore our school Vision, Rainbow values and our curriculum through the lenses of ourselves, others, the world and the wonders of life. We explore and reflect on our spiritual journey across our curriculum and school journey at Trinity.
Self
We will become more aware of who we are as a whole person, the interests, memories and experiences that make us a unique individual.
Others
We will become more aware of everyone around us and understand that we are all different.
World
We will become more aware of the beauty and wonder of the natural world and human creation. We will explore how this appreciation affects how we see our world and the creations of humanity.
Wonder
We will become more aware of the mysteries beyond our physical world. We will explore the meaning in our experiences and our place in creation.
