SEND

At Trinity C of E Primary Academy, rooted in our Christian values and guided by our school values of commitment, consideration and cooperation, we believe every child is a unique and precious individual, created in the image of God, with the right to flourish, belong, and achieve.

We are an inclusive, nurturing community that celebrates diversity and is committed to removing barriers to learning for all, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Through commitment, we work tirelessly to provide high-quality, personalised support. Ensuring that the SEND Code of Practice is adhered to and Wolverhampton Local Authority resources are utilised. Through consideration, we listen carefully to our children and their families. Through cooperation, we work in partnership with families, staff and external agencies to meet each child’s needs.

We use early identification, a graduated approach, and high-quality teaching to ensure pupils with SEND; including those learning English as an additional language receive the care, challenge and opportunity they deserve.

Our staff are committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice, united in the belief that every child can succeed when given the right support. We aim to create a learning environment where all pupils feel safe, valued and empowered to reach their full potential academically, socially and spiritually.

If you have any questions regarding your child at any point during their journey at Trinity, please contact Miss Markham our SENCO or Miss Osborne her assistant.
